Responsible market surveillance authority
The federal states are currently setting up a joint body to carry out the tasks of the Accessibility Reinforcement Act.
The Market Surveillance Authority of the Federal States for the Accessibility of Products and Services (MLBF) is to commence work as a new institution under public law in Saxony-Anhalt, in the state capital Magdeburg, on June 28, 2025. The prerequisite for this is the ratification of the state treaty on the fulfillment of tasks in accordance with the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG) by all federal states. All federal states are currently creating the necessary conditions for this.

7.conciliation body and procedure
The Federal Government Commissioner for Matters relating to Persons with Disabilities has an arbitration board. The arbitration board has the task of resolving conflicts between people with disabilities and private economic actors of the federal government.
You can contact the arbitration board if you are not satisfied with the answers you receive from the above-mentioned contact option. The aim is not to find winners or losers. Rather, the aim is to find a solution to a problem together and out of court with the help of the arbitration board. The conciliation procedure is free of charge. You also do not need legal advice.
