The ABUS GS40 grid grating lock offers effective burglary protection for cellar doors and prevents grating from being lifted out or levered open when secured with GS40. This prevents burglars from gaining access to the cellar window. The sturdy and flexible chain is particularly suitable for securing plastic skylights. GS40 is mounted in pairs on both sides of the grating, while the chain is flexibly attached to the brick wall. Despite GS40, escape route regulations are complied with, as the padlock can be unlocked from the inside without a key to quickly clear the way for residents.
