The ABUS FO400A window handle lock offers a lockable window handle lock with integrated additional lock to ensure double security: carefree burglary protection and a helpful child lock. It is equipped with an alarm that reacts loudly in the event of an attempted break-in.

As a replacement for the existing window handle, the FO400A is ideal for windows and French windows made of aluminum, wood or plastic to secure the opening side. Operation remains as simple as with a conventional window handle. For additional security, it is recommended that the hinge side of the window is also secured separately.

The lock case including handle is mounted on the window sash, while the strike plate is attached to the frame. The design of the lock is particularly narrow, making it easy to fit the FO400A even in tight installation spaces. Thanks to the adjustable bolt, this lock fits almost any window.
