The ASSA ABLOY DC840 is a concealed close motion door closer. The Close Motion technology ensures that the door closes gently and quietly. It also meets all the requirements for barrier-free construction in accordance with DIN SPEC 1104 / CEN15894. The door closer is also suitable for fire and smoke protection.
What is Close Motion technology?
Close Motion technology from Assa Abloy is an integrated damper unit in the door closer that ensures that the door closes quietly and gently. For very heavy entrance doors that are exposed to draughts and wind, the close-motion technology also helps to ensure that the door closes gently in the correct position. Braking the door also prevents fingers from getting trapped between the door and door frame.
