The integrated door closer 96 FL from DORMAKABA is part of the ITS 96 system. Due to its compact design, it blends almost invisibly into the door and frame and therefore integrates discreetly into the overall architectural concept.

The further development of the ITS 96 system, the ITS 96 FL, now offers a free-running function for fire and smoke protection doors with a door width of up to 1400 mm and a weight of up to 180 kg. This increased comfort when walking through helps to improve accessibility in the building.

• As an integrated free swing door closer, the door closer is particularly suitable for barrier-free construction in accordance with DIN SPEC 1104 and DIN 18040 as well as for preventive fire protection. Typical areas of application can be found in situations where special emphasis is placed on safety and comfort, such as in hospitals, nursing homes, day care centers, schools or public buildings such as museums or theaters.

Once the freewheel function has been activated, the door closer allows the door to be passed through with virtually no resistance. The door moves freely as if no door closer was fitted. A special feature is that the freewheel function is activated from an opening angle of 0°. This is particularly advantageous on doors with a limited Öopening angle, such as 90°.

In the event of an alarm or power loss, the door is securely closed and the EASY OPEN technology enables easy door opening thanks to the sharply decreasing Öopening torque (DIN SPEC 1104 - compliant). The ITS 96 FL has an infinitely adjustable closing force of EN 3-6, so that doors up to a door width of 1,400 mm can be moved.

G 96 GSR-EMF 1 - Economy and safety in one system

The G 96 GSR-EMF 1 hold-open device enables both door leaves to be moved with just one hold-open device for double-sash doors. The slide channel closer with integrated electromechanical hold-open device in the fixed door leaf can be combined with the standard components from the ITS 96 system.
