FISCHER FID Fastener from FISCHER
The Fischer FID Fastener is a fastener for fixing lightweight add-on parts in plastered and unplastered polystyrene and polyurethane insulation boards. The Fischer FID is installed by hand or with a cordless screwdriver. The special threaded spiral cuts itself form-fittingly into the insulation board. Attachment parts such as letterboxes, lamps or motion detectors can be fastened with a 4.5 to 5 mm screw.
- By setting the anchor exclusively in the insulation, attachment parts can be mounted without heat loss.
- The geometry of the FID allows easy installation in thin plaster layers without pre-drilling and saves one work step.
- The FID 50 is used in thin insulation boards from 50 mm. The FID 90 is used in thicker insulation boards and can support higher loads.
- The bit holder allows setting with standard tools and enables quick and economical installation.
- No pre-drilling necessary in thin plaster layers. This saves time.

- To prevent water ingress into the insulation material, the edge of the insulation should be sealed after pre-assembly.
