The KFV EP99B panic lock is specially designed for single-leaf wooden and steel doors.

The switchover function B makes the handle on the outside of the door versatile. In "daytime operation", the door can be opened conveniently from the outside by pressing the handle. However, as soon as the door is locked via the lock cylinder, the door switches to idle mode and opening from the outside is prevented.

It is important to note that the door can still be opened in the escape direction at any time. This ensures that a quick evacuation or escape is possible in an emergency. You can therefore always be sure that the door can be opened easily in emergency situations, while at other times it is reliably protected against unauthorized access.
