What are the requirements for the Bridge?

In addition, Wi-Fi with a 2.4 GHz signal must be available within range of the Bridge, as the Bridge requires a wireless connection to the Internet.

Can I connect multiple devices to one Nuki Bridge?

Yes, in principle several Nuki devices (Smart Lock, Opener) can be connected to one Nuki Bridge at the same time. However, it is important to note that each device must be within Bluetooth range (maximum 5 meters) of the Bridge.

Can I also manage my devices on my PC?

Yes, if your devices are connected to a Bridge and are online, you can also manage them via your PC. To do this, you must first activate Nuki Web. With Nuki Web, you have access to all the functions that are also available in the Nuki app and can use them via a browser. How secure is my data handled?

Your data is treated very securely and NUKI respects your privacy. You do not need a user account to use the Nuki Smart Lock or Opener, nor is your data stored on the Nuki servers. This applies both to the use of Nuki within Bluetooth range and via WLAN if you have connected your Nuki device to a Nuki Bridge. Whenever possible, your data is only processed on your end devices.

Of course, you can also use our Nuki Web Cloud service, which requires the caching of data on our servers.

Do I need the Nuki Bridge for Apple HomeKit control?

The Nuki Bridge is not absolutely necessary for using HomeKit, but the functions of the Home app are limited compared to the Nuki app and there are fewer options available. However, it depends on your individual use case.

If you want to use all the functions of the Smart Lock, we recommend using the Nuki Bridge in combination with HomeKit.
