How does the installation work?

The Nuki Keypad 2.0 is simply stuck to the outside of your front door. As the keypad is battery-operated, no cables or wires need to be connected.

Do I need a Nuki Bridge to be able to use the Nuki Keypad 2.0?

No, the Nuki Keypad 2.0 does not require a Nuki Bridge or internet connection. To be able to use it, you only need the Nuki Smart Lock. However, we recommend using the Nuki Bridge to control the Smart Lock remotely and easily manage access codes.

Is my Nuki Keypad 2.0 compatible with the Nuki Smart Lock?

Yes, the Nuki Keypad 2.0 is compatible with the Nuki Smart Lock 2.0, the Smart Lock 3.0 and the Smart Lock 3.0 Pro. The two devices communicate with each other via Bluetooth so that the Keypad can also be used without an internet connection and Nuki Bridge.

How is my Nuki Keypad 2.0 protected against theft?

As the Nuki Keypad is mounted on the outside of your home, it can be seen by outsiders. If the Keypad is stolen, Nuki offers a theft replacement guarantee. You only need to send a copy of your loss report (issued by the police) and proof of ownership (original invoice) of your Keypad to Nuki. Once the documents have been successfully Ütransmitted, you will receive a replacement product from Nuki free of charge.
