The panic lock B-1841 is designed for double-leaf doors. With the escape door function positioned higher, the door handle, which opens the door in an emergency, is in a higher position. This prevents small children from opening the door unintentionally or easily, for example. At the same time, the function as an escape door for adults or taller people is maintained, as they can easily reach the handle.

Such doors are often used in daycare centers, schools or facilities where it is important to control access for certain people while still meeting the safety requirements for escape doors.

Switching function B:

The panic lock B-1841 for double-leaf doors with the panic function raised on the inside handle (1,500 mm). Exit is possible at any time. The outer hatch can be mechanically engaged or disengaged via the key.
