The BKS panic lock 1845 with passage function D and raised escape door function offers increased security, especially for special areas of application such as nurseries. The outside handle is permanently activated by pressing the inside handle once. Locking only takes place when the door is locked with the lock cylinder, while the door can be opened at any time in the direction of escape. For additional protection, the normal or escape door function is triggered via a handle raised to 1,500 mm instead of at the usual height, which is particularly advantageous for facilities with children.
