The BKS panic lock 1846 with changeover function E and raised escape door function has been specially developed for applications with increased security requirements. From the inside, the handle enables simultaneous operation of the latch and deadbolt to ensure a quick exit. Re-locking is required via the key. Outside, the lock is only operated via a fixed knob or handle, whereby the lock is also opened via the key. The increased handle height of 1,500 mm is ideal for special areas of use such as nurseries to prevent unauthorized opening.
