509X security lock with external control - tubular frame version from EffEff

The motorized version of the security lock is particularly suitable for situations in which the advantages of motorized unlocking need to be combined with the mechanical security requirements of lock models 309X and 409X. Thanks to the integrated Ümonitoring contacts, it is possible to monitor important lock conditions.

An electric motor retracts the bolt and pretensions it using a spring mechanism. When the door is closed, the control latch causes the pretensioned bolt to be pulled out and at the same time locks the cross latch, which thus serves as an additional locking mechanism.

This lock is based on the working current principle, which means it remains locked even in the event of a power failure. It can only be opened by using a key or by operating the inside handle.

Note:

The locks in the 509X model series have a full-length follower and therefore require an interchangeable fitting (inside follower or panic push bar, outside knob or push bar).

The lock is activated by a pulse from a card reader, code lock, timer, button, etc.
