509X security lock with external control unit - EffEff's full-ballet versions
The motorized version of the security lock is primarily used when the advantages of motorized unlocking need to be reconciled with the mechanical security requirements of lock models 309X and 409X. Thanks to the integrated Ümonitoring contacts, important lock statuses ücan be monitored.
An electric motor retracts the bolt and pretensions it using a spring mechanism. When the door is closed, the control latch ensures that the pretensioned bolt extends and at the same time blocks the cross latch, thereby acting as an additional locking mechanism.
The lock operates according to the working current principle, which means that it remains locked even in the event of a power failure and can only be opened by using a key or operating the inside handle.
Product features of the 509X security lock:
- Mechanical self-locking
- With cross latch, DIN left
