The Nuki Opener in combination with the Nuki Bridge offers a practical solution to avoid missing parcel deliveries. With this combination, you can open the front door remotely and thus give the delivery service access to your house/apartment to leave the parcel outside your front door. • Ring to Open: With this function, the buzzer of your intercom system is activated as soon as someone rings your doorbell. If you are nearby, your smartphone is recognized and the door opens automatically.

• Ring suppression: You can set the Nuki app to suppress the ring signal of your intercom system when someone rings your doorbell.

• Continuous mode: When continuous mode is activated, the Nuki Opener automatically opens the front door as soon as someone rings the doorbell. You can deactivate this function at any time in the Nuki app.

How is the Nuki Opener fitted and installed?

Like all Nuki products, the Nuki Opener is designed for self-assembly. You can find detailed instructions on how to install and set up the Opener in the Nuki app. The required installation material is included in the packaging.

As the output voltage of the intercom system is in the low-voltage range, there is no danger during installation. If you are still unsure, Nuki's installation service offers professional installation of your Nuki products at a flat rate.

How is the Nuki Opener supplied with power?

The Opener is powered by four AAA batteries, so no power supply from the house system is required and a stable power supply is always guaranteed. There is no power theft and you can install the Nuki Opener at home without your landlord's permission.

Why is a Nuki Bridge required to use the Nuki Opener?

The Nuki Opener communicates üvia Bluetooth (BLE). Since a Bluetooth connection from your home to the entrance door of the apartment building is not stable or not available at all in most cases, we recommend using the Nuki Opener exclusively in combination with the Nuki Bridge, which is connected to your Wi-Fi. You can also use the Nuki Bridge to open your main entrance door remotely.

Is the Nuki Opener compatible with Keypad and Fob?

All Nuki products are designed to be compatible with each other. The Nuki Opener is therefore also compatible with the Nuki Keypad and the Nuki Fob. The devices can be paired with each other in the Nuki app. However, due to the physical limitations of Bluetooth and the often greater distance between the front door and the intercom system, Nuki cannot guarantee proper functioning.

Can I also control my electric garage door with the Nuki Opener?

In principle, the Opener can open almost any electronically controlled door. During the set-up process via the Nuki app, you can select other doors (e.g. garage door, garden gate, switch, etc.) in addition to the conventional intercom system. The app clearly shows you how to connect the Nuki Opener to each switch.

Is it possible to use the Nuki Smart Lock 3.0 Pro as a "bridge" for the Nuki Opener?

No, you need a separate Nuki Bridge to use the Nuki Opener.
